Barbara Jean Adams, best known as Susie Adams, age 51, of Hotchkiss, WV, entered into eternal life following a sudden illness on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Susie was born on January 1, 1961, at Bristol, Pennsylvania, and was a medical billing clerk for 14 years at Heath Smart. She was of the Baptist faith.
Those awaiting her in heaven are her mother Barbara Lilly Cook, a sister Teresa Bolen, niece Jennifer Gray, maternal grandmother, Edith Hawkins, maternal grandfather, Charles Lilly, paternal grandparents, Elmer and Rebecca Bolen, maternal great-grandparents, Wilfred and Katy Rhodes, paternal great-grandparents, James and Pearl Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband of 29 years Randy Adams of Hotchkiss, a son David Adams and his wife Lisa of Cedar Grove, WV.
Grandchildren: Deric, Maleigha, and Jacob Adams, her parents, Ray and Lisa Bolen of Coal City, siblings, Katy Maynard and her husband Tim of Slab Fork, Charlotte Gray and her husband Wayne of Lester, Mike Bolen and his wife Gidget of Beckley, Patricia Mills of Beckley, Lateresha, Jon, and Michael, at home. A brother-in-law, Lee Mills of Surveyor, and several nieces and nephews are also among her survivors.
Funeral services will be conducted to Celebrate The Life Of Barbara Jean "Susie" Adams at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Monday, July 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Larry England officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
