Dallice Allen, 53, of 122 Stacy Drive, formerly of 1420 Kenmore Avenue, Buffalo, N.Y., answered the Master's call on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 9:55 p.m. at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center.
Daughter of Mae Velma Manning Allen and the late Shed Allen, she was born July 11, 1960, in Cherokee County.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Allen.
She was a member of Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a former directress of the Children's Choir. Ms. Allen was a graduate of Gaffney High School and continued her education and received a B.A. degree. She was employed as an accountant.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons, Zachary Allen, Trevor Allen and Tyrell Allen, all of the home; two daughters, Zipporiah Allen and Ndia Allen, both of Columbia; her brother, Clinton Allen of Columbia; three sisters, Mary Allen Tate (Christopher) of Gaffney, Santa McKnight of Columbia and Shirley Smith (John) of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Zavion Holmes, Tiaajha Gillespie, Dyson Little and Zoilee Little; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Courtney Mills officiating.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, John and Shirley Smith, 122 Stacy Drive.
