Funeral services for Scott Howard Aaron will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel in Alexandria, LA with the Reverend Clifford Pereira and Reverence Shane LeJeune officiating. Committal service will follow in the Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Scott, 62, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Tioga. He was born on April 21, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to the union of Rev. Doyle and Sybil Howard Aaron. He was a Sargent in the United States Army rank SP-4. He has worked with road construction. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Doyle Aaron and Megan Elliott.

He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, two sons, Chad Aaron of Elmer, LA and Brent Aaron, wife Melissa Edwards Aaron of Boyce; one daughter, Tammy Aaron Dousay of Elmer, LA; his mother, Sybil Aaron of Pearland, Texas; one brother, Barry Aaron, wife Tina Johnson Aaron; two sisters, Jan Aaron Elliott of McNary and Judy Aaron Pereira, husband Reverence Clifford Pereira of Pearland, Texas; six grandchildren Cody Cloud, Ryan Russum, Troy Edwards, Tyler Cloyd, Alex Aaron, Samantha Aaron, and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to service will be Tyler Cloud, Cody Cloud, Ryan Russum, Travis Aaron, Todd Aaron and Marcus Elliott.

Honorary Pallbearers Alex Aaron, Samantha Aaron, Troy Edwards, Johnathan Pereira, Jason Brookshire, Casey Stanley and Trent Johnson.

Visitation will begin Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., then Saturday, April 19, 2014, from 8 a.m. until service time in the chapel.
