Mary Mildred Brim, 80, passed away on August 19, 1962 at Salem Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Linton Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Pierson officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, James; her sons, Cecil Arvilla Brim of the Army stationed in Germany, Charles Casey Brim of Bethalto, Edward Ernest Hall of Kinmundy, Herschel Walter Brimm of Springfield, and Noble William Hall of Richland, Missouri; her daughters, Alvena Margaret "Peggy" Wingerter of Springfield, Lily Irene Prather of Mulkeytown, Lucille Fannie Herrick of Matteson, and Vernice Shaffer of Zion; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
