GASTONIA — Mary Almedia Goodson Jackson, 82, died Dec. 27, 2000, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late R.B. and Lila Short Goodson, wife of the late Lester Jackson, member of Westside Assembly of God Church, retired from the textile industry.
SURVIVORS: Daughters and son-in-law, Hilda Justice, the home, Nell and William McGraw; sister, Blanche Goodson Hudson; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren
