Services for Ada Hagans, 88, of Ashland, who died Sunday at Boone County Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at Burnett Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev E.P. Weaver officiating. Mrs. Hagans was born Sept. 9, 1891, the daughter of Richard and Abbie Murphy Martin. She married Cecil B. Hagans on Feb. 8, 1911. He died earlier. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Ashland. Survivors include two sons, Charles H. Hagans and Leon Hagans, both of Ashland, one daughter, Ella Meads, Raytown, Mo., one brother, Gay Martin, Tulsa Okla., two sisters, Edith Roberson and Mae DeVoe, both of Vinita, Okla., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
