Beloved husband of Katherin L. Metzler (nee Lambert); dearest father of Ronna (Dan) Robinson, James R. (Samantha) Metzler and Kara Arens; dear grandpa of Matthew, Katherin, Luke, Mallory, Ronald, Dalton and Hanna; dear brother of Donald (Jo Ann) Metzler; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Mr. Metzler retired from Boeing after 35 years of service. Member of Greater St. Louis Council of Boy Scouts of America, giving 37 years of service to area leaders and Scouts, recipient of Silver Beaver Award. He loved fishing and boating with his grandchildren and friends.

Services Fri., Aug. 8, 10 a.m. at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (Bridgeton). Visitation Thurs. 4-8 p.m. Interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Lutheran Children and Family Services or the Boy Scouts of America Greater St. Louis Council.
