Alda Sue Martin, 86, formerly of Leesburg, VA, died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Stella Maris Inc., Timonium, MD. She was born January 20, 1926 in Martinsburg, WV.

Alda Sue was a daughter of the late George Amos and Ruth Mary (Zeigler) Martin. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by six sisters, Vauda Rauchwerger, Juanita McCormick, Betty Sigler, Imogene Grove O'Dell, Joyce Schuman and Roberta Martin; three brothers, Ralph Martin, Robert Martin Sr. and George Martin Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, at 11:30 a.m. at National Memorial Park King David, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. Those who wish may make contributions in Sue's memory to a local animal shelter.

The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc. of New Freedom, PA is assisting the family with arrangements.
