ALVARADO -- Clarine Ruth Ahrens, 73, a homemaker, died suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, July 3, 2003, at her home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: She will lie in state 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Ahrens was very domestic. She loved cooking, crocheting, quilting and gardening. She was working part time as a greeter at the Mansfield Wal-Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in June 1984.
Survivors: Sons, Gary Ahrens of Mansfield, Larry Ahrens of Burleson; daughter, Sherry Eckert of Alvarado; granddaughter, Kairee Eckert of Alvarado; brother, Alvin Robert Gloyna of Plano; sister, Geneva Bernice Manning Florissant of Missouri.
