Georgia was born to Matthew W. Doty and Ada Ellen Goucher at Lapwai. In 1910 the family moved to the Lewiston area, where she grew up and graduated from High School.

After graduation, she worked as a cook at the Rodero Club, The Legion Club and at Aggars Italian Gardens.

She married Horace N. Brown Sept. 27, 1927 at Asotin. He died May 3,1957.

Georgia had a restaurant in Deary, Idaho for about two years and sold it. She met A. Earl Hake while he was building the Culdesac grade up the canyon.

She married A. Earl Hake April 3, 1958 at Lewiston. In 1960, they moved to Alaska, where Earl worked construction and she was a homemaker. Earl died April 12, 1979. She then returned to the area.

She married Virgil R. Woodruff March 18,1984. The couple made their home at Clarkston.

Cremation has taken place and private interment will be held at Normal Hill Cemetery at Lewiston.
