Jack was a welder by trade and spent most of his life traveling on a pipeline, but never missed and opportunity to stop and fish at every hole he past.
Jack spent most of WWII in Burma after spending months traveling around this great country at different schools. His time in Burma was spent directing pilots over the "hump". His dream was to fly. When he came home from WWII he spent time getting his pilots license and loved to fly his beloved Flint Hills. But in time, he had a family and that dream had to stop in order to support his family.
Once he retired, his second dream was to return to Eureka and his beloved Flint Hills, which he did.
