She was born in Defoe, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Lindon and Mary (Clements) Wheeler. She was a homemaker and caregiver, and belonged to Defoe Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Bright, Sr; four sons, E.J., Lynn, Tommy, and Neil Bright; two brothers, Milton and Frank Wheeler; and two sisters, Frances Waddell and Bessie O'Nan. Funeral: September 15, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville, Kentucky.
