Born to to M. A. and Martha Jean Walling Alexander. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Marshall. Mike was a graduate of Waskom High School and was active in all school sports. He married Mary Yetta Fugler on April 3, 1976, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mike joined the Harrison County Sheriff's Department, was a longtime Captain of Criminal Investigation and was Administrative Captain when he retired. He had received the G.O. Cooper Award, the Merit Award for Law Enforcement Excellence and was a Master Peace Officer.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother; and his brother, Patrick.
