AUSTIN -- Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin for Mary P. "Pat" Aaby, 72, 1103 21st St. N.E., who died Monday morning (Dec. 23, 1996) at her home. The Rev. Virgil Duellman will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mary P. Lynch was born April 18, 1924, in Chatfield.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Aaby of Austin; a son, Lawrence Aaby of Minneapolis; a sister, Margaret (Mrs. Melvin) Mullen of Rochester; two half-sisters, Shirley (Mrs. Merlyn) Fletcher of Nisswa, Minn., and Joan (Mrs. Roger) King of La Crescent. She was preceded in death by a brother, a daughter and two sons.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
The family prefers memorials to the Diabetes Association or Sacred Heart Hospice of Austin.
