Mrs. Bryan Dead
Mrs. Lula Finney Bryan, widow of the late James S. Bryan, died at her home near Kathleen last Friday in the 70th year of her age. The burial was in the family cemetery on the homestead farm, Saturday evening.
Born and reared in Jones county, she was married and came to Houston county about 48 years ago.
For forty-one years she was a member of the Baptist church, a Christian in word and in deed, a woman who held the esteem of all who know her by force of her kindliness.
She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. C.W. Houser of near Perry, J.B., J.T. and Miss Maude Bryan of near Kathleen and Herbert Bryan of Jones county.
These bereaved ones have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
