Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the United Church of Primghar. The Rev. Scott Hibben will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Primghar.
Mrs. Noe, the former Ida Closson, was born August 9, 1896, in Des Moines. Her parents were William and Mary Roop Closson. She moved as a child with her family to Nebraska where she attended schools. She then came to the Paullina area where she worked as a clerk in the general stores. In 1923 she married Arthur Noe in Primghar. They made their home in Primghar where they owned and operated a café from 1928 until 1948. She then worked in the Iowa State Liquor Store for nine years. Mr. Noe died May 7, 1957.
She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, United Church of Primghar, life member of United Church Women and 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one son, Arthur of Corpus Christi, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Baker of Salt Lake City, UT, Mrs. Zylpha Wood of Hemet, CA and Mrs. Corintha Stanton of Sioux City, IA and three grandchildren.
