LOWVILLE- Peter Wayne Flint, 69, of River Street, Lowville, died Sunday morning, April 13, 2014 at the Lewis County General Hospital... Burial with Military Honors will be in the Old Glendale Cemetery... He is survived by a brother, Herman Flint of Lowville; a sister, Janet Moody of Black River; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Flint of Glenfield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins and many foster children. He also had a close friend, Karen Eckert and her daughter Terrymarie. He is predeceased by a two brothers, Louis and Paul Flint, two sisters, Ann Pete and Diana Moshier. Peter was born on September 8, 1944 in Port Leyden, NY, a son of the late Freeman L. and Julia J. Green Flint. He graduated from General Martin School and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving for many years. He attended Maryland University and Texas University, and worked for various companies throughout the U.S. Peter moved into Valley View Courts in 2003. He enjoyed search-a-word, collecting and painting. He was a member of Lowville American Legion #162.
