Bill Vaughan was the son of the late Norman Vaughan and Beulah Reynolds Vaughan, and was a native of Albany, Texas and a resident of Lafayete since 1975. He joined the army at 17 yrs. old. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing Peacock Bass in Venzuela and dreamed of the big one that got away. Survivors include his wife Yolanda of Lafayette, daughter Theresa Scarcella and husband Luciano of Lafayette; son David and wife Diana of Broussard; son James of Lafayette; son George and wife Tina of Lafayette; son Rafael Segarra of Lafayette and Jo Catherine Vaughan of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Linda McGough of Ranger, Tx. and two brothers Bob Vaughan of Leveland, Tx. and Donald Ray Vaughan of Lubbock, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Bill Vaughan. Services were held at Delhomme Chapel of Flowers at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday Jan, 12, 2005. Internment in Lafayette Memorial Park. The Rev. Rod Kirby, associate pastor of East Bayou Baptist Churgh conducted the services.
