The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00pm in Anderson Funeral Home with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Crapse was born on February 21, 1937 in Hampton County, SC. He is the son of the late Brooks Crapse and Ione Murdaugh Crapse.
He was a carpenter and worked with Coastal Contractors for 40 years. He also was of the Christian Faith, a member of the Silo Hunting Club, Holly Hall Plantation and served our country in the National Guard.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Dot; are three sisters, Clara Mae Mason, Vernelle Gibson and Martha (Sissy) Forrester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Murdaugh Crapse and two sisters, Mazie Long and Lillian McGraw.
