Edna Lynn Jellison was the first born child of Jesse Jellison and Ell Dora (Fuller) Jellison, born in Jefferson County Wisconsin - in Watertown, where her parents married.
Edna was born on April 9, 1872 the oldest of eight siblings. The family then moved to Minneapolis, Duluth and ended up homesteading on Bass Lake in Cohasset, Minnesota in 1894. Edna's father bought acreage on a point between the Narrow's and Crawford Island (later called Shoemaker's/Schumacher's Point). The family lived in a home built of logs.
Edna married Charles Stewart Palmer on February 21, 1885 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota.
They had one daughter Phoebe Gertrude (Palmer) Fletcher who was born in 1896. The family eventually moved from Minnesota to California.
Edna died on November 20, 1955 in San Diego, one years after her husband's passing in 1954. They are buried together in Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
