Glen Wesley Smith,79 of Rector died Friday, Dec. 17, 1993, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesborc, Ark.
He was born Jan. 14, 1914, in Clay County. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, a farmer and a member of the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ in Rector.
He was proceded in death by his parents. Wesley Smith and Lillie Augusts Sides Smith, and by his first wife, Evelyn, on Aug. 6, 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Euva Nell Smith of the home; a son, Bob Smith of Rector; two daughters, Betty Smith of Jonesboro and Gail Burns of Rector. Three brothers Hubert Smith and Johnny C. Smith, both of Jonesboro, and Harry Smith of Modesto, Calif.; two sisters, Dorthy Allen and Faye Hannsey, both of Waterford, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren
The funeral will be at 2 this afternoon at Fifth and Pine Church of Christ with C. Ray Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
