DR. CARLIN MOREN RIGGS passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at his home in Brazoria, Texas. He was a U.S. Army Veteran WW II, serving with Gen. MacArthur. He was a graduate of the University of Houston and University of Texas College of Dentistry. He was a dentist in Houston for 26 years and later in Brazoria. He was co-founder of Northwest Academy, member of Sons of the Republic and the Ella Lee Foust Civic Club. Dr. Riggs was preceded in death by his parents and wife, June Lenore Riggs. He is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Riggs Swartz & husband Charles and Suzanne Claire Riggs, and sister, Lou Edith Rapstein. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Brazoria. Arrangements are under the direction of Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria
