David F. Fields age 77, of Rushville, passed away April 11, 2014 at Rush Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 22, 1936 in Connersville IN, a son of the late Frank and Lillian (Harrison) Fields. He was married to the former Patricia Land March 3, 2002, and she survives. David work many jobs, but worked as a farm hand most of his life. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army serving from 1954-57. He attended the Rushville Church of Christ.
His loving family include his wife Patricia of Rushville; one son, Elivs A. Fields of Rushville; three daughters, Lisa M. Griffin of Cincinnati, OH, Mary A. (Troy) Jacobs & Joyce A. Moffitt both of Rushville; one step daughter Kim (Stephen) Keith of Rushville; one step son David (Vanessa) Brown of Virginia Beach, VA; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six step grandchildren & seven step grandchildren also will miss him.
David was preceded in death by his first wife Jean; ten brothers & sisters and a step son Dennis Brown.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Evangelist James Buhler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11:00 AM. David will be buried at the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
