"William F. Barber Sr., 82-year-old retired farmer, Dodge City, KS, formerly of Skidmore, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at a hospital there.

Born December 6, 1891, at Skidmore, the son of the late Fredric Clarence and Laura Grigsby Barber, he had resided since February at Dodge City. On April 15, 1914, he was married at Skidmore to Margaret Bess Bilby, who survives. He was a member of the Burr Oak United Methodist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rites and Moila Temple, St. Joseph.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Harold Barber, Peck, MN, Dr. Donald Barber, Dodge City, KS, and Ted Barber, Glendale, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Laura Mather, Pico-Rivera, CA; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Forsyth officiating. Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery, Skidmore."
