Allen E Rebert, 82, McKnightstown, died Tuesday evening at 6:30 at the Warner Hospital where he had been a patient for a week.
A native of Adams County, he was born near McKnightstown, a son of the late Lawrence Mickley and Emma Louise (Knouse) Rebert and was a carpenter most of his life. HE had served as assessor in Franklin Twp. A number of years ago and was a member of the McKnightstown United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, the former Edna Rebecca Bushman, whom he wed November 8, 1906; three children, Joseph L Rebert, McKnightstown; Harold B Rebert, McKnightstown, and Ernest D Rebert, Arendtsville; seven grandchildren, and these brothers and sister, Robert Rebert, Gettysburg R3;
Perren Rebert, Seven Stares; Mrs. John Lower, Cashtown; John Rebert, Orrtanna; Dorsey Rebert, Gettysburg; Clair Rebert, McKnightstown; Paul Rebert, Orrtanna R2, and Mrs. Gerald Evey, Camp Hill.
Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2:00 form the Bender Funeral Home, Carlisle St., with his pastor, Rev. Robert Paden, and the Rev. G Howard Koons officiating. Interment in Flohr’s Cemetery
