Death Takes J.B. Zimbelman
John B. Zimbelman died Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Griess six miles east of Lodi, following an illness which had kept him bedfast for about three weeks. He was a native of South Russia aged 78 years, 1 month and 18 days.
He was the husband of the late Katherine Zimbelman, and father of Mrs. Fred Gemar, Mrs. Fred J. Griess, Jacob Zimbelman, John Zimbelman and Phillip Zimbelman, all of Lodi. He was the brother of Mike Zimbelman, North Dakota and Katherina Zimbelman, St. Francis, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home of O.H. Wells & Son with Rev. U. Zogg, pastor of the German Reformed church, officiating. Interment will be made in Lodi cemetery.
