Frank F. Chandler, 83, died Tuesday, May 24, 1977, in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 1977 in the Allison school with the Rev. Virgil Cornwell, pastor of United Penntecostal [sic] Church of Allison, officiating. Burial was in Zybach Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Mr. Chandler was born in Ellis County. He moved to the Allison area from Durant, Oklahoma in 1931.

He was a retired farmer and a member of United Penntecostal [sic] Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerry Gilmer of Amarillo; three sons, D.C. of Texoma, Oklahoma, Kenneth of Allison, and Jack of Guymon, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Susie Brantley of Temple, Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

The Pallbearers were Billy Boydston, Clifton Boydston, Forrest Boydston, Vance Boydston, John Gilmer, Pete Gilmer, Bruce Harrison, and Eddy Walker.
