Carl A. Haggerty, 63, died yesterday in his home at 108 S. 12th St. Born in Reading, a son of the late Edward C. and Emma M. (Huber) Haggerty, he was a member of the Marion and Goodwill of Hyde Park fire companies and the Ivy leaf Assn.
Haggerty is survived by four sisters, Mary, wife of Carl Haueisen, and Margaret, wife of John Stumhofer, both of Reading; Elizabeth, wife of David M. Fleishmann, Wyomissing, and Helen Haggerty, Reading, and five brothers, Harry W., Edward C., Ferdinand G. and Peter H., all of Reading and James J. of Lancaster.
Private services and burial will be arranged by the Feeney Funeral Home.
Per the 1940 census Carl was a cigar salesman.
