Mrs. Lane Riggs Dead After Long Illness
Mrs. Annie Louella Riggs, 74, wife of Lane W. Riggs, died at 7:07 a.m. yesterday at her home, north Lewiston, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Riggs was born in Missouri Jan. 31, 1873, and had resided in this community for the last 20 years.
Survivors are her husband, five daughters and five sons, Mrs. Rocena Blackwell and Mrs. Elizabeth Hershberger, both of McCall, Mrs. Nella Stout, Peter Riggs, Samuel Riggs, William Riggs and Leonard Riggs, all of Lewiston, Mrs. Lena Morris, Baker, Ore., Mrs. Ida Whiteley and James D. Riggs, Coeur d'Alene; her father, O. A. Richey, Lewiston, who is 94 years old, 10 brothers and sisters in different parts of the country, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 from Brower-Wann chapel with the Rev. Marvin E. Smith as officiant. Interment will be in Normal Hill cemetery.
