DURKEE MAN PASSES
Henry Wolfe, retired telegraph operator of the U.P. System and farmer of Durkee was found dead near his home when he did not return from a meeting of farmers at the grange hall this week.
Henry was the 6th child of Reece and Susan (Miller) Wolfe and was born July 7, 1857 in Wayne county, Iowa and spent his youth there. He married Lovina Bennett in 1881 in New York, Iowa. To this union were born three sons, Leonard, Reece and Eldon. Lovina died in 1888. Henry then married Pearl (Cartwright) Reynolds in 1903. To this union two more sons were born, Virgil and Vernon.
Deceased is survived by three sons, Eldon of Aberdeen, Washington, Virgil of Kellogg and Vernon of Durkee. Both wives and two sons preceeded him in death.
