William Robert "Bill" Baker, of Oklahoma City, was born August 9, 1930, in Maramec, OK to Bill and Petie Baker. He passed away April 3, 2014.

He worked 33 years as a Professional Land Surveyor for the City of Oklahoma City and was a charter member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors.

He was a longtime member of Crestwood Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and taught Sunday School.

Bill married his high school sweetheart on May 7, 1952.

He is survived by by his wife of the home along with several family members. His pride and joy were his 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law and sister, Moe and Dixie Pacini.


A memorial service will be held Monday, April 7 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made through Right Hand Ministries for the HOPE Children's Home: Right Hand Ministries, Little Rock, AR.
