As a single parent she was devoted to raising her two children Mary Elena Zucco-Christie and Mario Pietro Abruzzini. She is survived by one sister Irma Giovando Perone, her two children, Mary Zucco-Christie, Mario Abruzzini, son-in-law Bruce Christie, daughter-in-law Amy Abruzzini, three Grandchildren John Christie, Dina McCarthy, and Amanda Abruzzini, and five Great-Grandchildren.
