DEATH OF JOHN WINSELL, of Des Moines Township. Jefferson county IA at the residence of his daughter in Wauneta, KS Sept. 12, 1892. Deceased was born in Loudon county TN March 8, 1815. In childhood with his parents moved to Madison county IN and in the fallof 1837 came to IA and settled in Jefferson county where he made his home until his death. He was married to Charlotte Noggle in Van Buren county IA May 21, 1840. To them ten children, six sons and four daughters. Of these, two daughters and four sons survive him, 13 grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. M.E. church. His remains were brought to IA for burial and the funeral took place from the home Sept. 14, Rev. G.W. Barber of Selma conducting the services.
