Sarah Matilda Whiteman was daughter of Samuel Whiteman and Phoebe Reed. She married 1st John Simmons ca 1880 with whom she had 3 children-Samuel Simmons (1881 OH-1963 IN); Elizabeth "Lizzie" (1884 OH- MI); and Nellie (1887 OH-? IN or OH). Don't know whether John Simmons died or if they were divorced but Sarah then married a Samuel Hamilton 25 Feb 1892 in Paulding County, Ohio to whom she was married when she died. They had no children.
