Landon "Watermelon" Tyler and Liam "Rojo" Cecil Abbott, 3, of Michigantown, tragically passed away on April 5, 2014. They were fraternal twins, born on February 13, 2011, in Lebanon, Indiana, to their mother, Layla Abbott.
In their spare time, they enjoyed playing gun games with their brother, Ayden, and riding the new bicycles that their mother got them for their birthday. They called each other "bubby," and would point to one another when asked who their bubby was. They would always work together to accomplish tasks and play because they were always together.
They are survived by a loving family consisting of their mother, Layla Abbott; maternal grandparents, Stan and Pam Mullens; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Lori Abbott; brothers, Ayden Abbott, Zachary Abbott; sisters, Addison Mullens, Isabelle Abbott; uncles, Nathan Mullens, Mark Davis; aunts, Kristy Taylor, Melody Batts; cousins, Payton Mullens, Mason Mullens, Colby Taylor, Riley Taylor; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service for Landon and Liam will be held at noon Saturday, April 12, in the Chapel of Faith at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 N., West Lafayette. Visitation will be held at the chapel from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Landon and Liam Memorial Fund through any branch of Lafayette Bank and Trust.

Two children were killed in a house fire Saturday in Tippecanoe County.
Deputies were able to find 3-year-old twins Landon Abbot and Liam Abbot unconscious in a first-floor bedroom around 11:00 Saturday morning and carry them out of the burning home in the 10700 block of Brandy Kay Court. They were immediately taken to an area hospital, but later died.
"It's every first responders worst nightmare," said Tippecanoe County Sheriffs Department Detective Lieutenant Jason Huber.
The boys' father, 31-year-old Brandon Abbott, and Nicole L. Thomas were also inside at the time. Rescuers found them on the front lawn with injuries from the fire. Both were taken to hospitals to be treated, but Brandon left as soon as he heard about his sons. On Friday night, Thomas was still being treated at an Indianapolis hospital for burns and smoke inhalation and was listed in serious condition.
