Mrs. Charlotte E. Wentz, 80, widow of James Wentz, died Wednesday evening at the family home at Springmill in Springfield Township. She had been in poor health for some time.
She was born Feb. 14, 1879 in Monroe County, coming to Mansfield at an early age. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son, Howard B. Wentz of Mansfield; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Blatter of Mansfield, and Mrs. Blaine Burkholder at home; two sisters, Mrs. Clara West of Bellaire, and Mrs. Ralph Walker of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Wappner Funeral Home where services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p. m. by her pastor, the Rev. Andrew Rolik. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting this evening.
