N. Paulene Redmon, 78, of Columbus died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.

She was a former employee of Farm Bureau Insurance and retired from Production Credit Association.

She was a former member of Bartholomew County Farm Bureau, Tipton Knoll Chapter of American Business Women's Association, Home Craft Home Economics Club, Bartholomew County Hospital Foundation, Clifford Fire Department Auxiliary and Indiana Rural Youth. She also had been a hospice volunteer.

Mrs. Redmon was a lifelong member of Petersville United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Petersville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Bradley officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Mrs. Redmon's body has been donated to the Indiana University Anatomical Education Program. There will be no burial at this time.

Memorials may be made to Petersville United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Arrangements were made by Vernon Jewell-Nick Rittman Funeral Home.

Born in Bartholomew County June 14, 1922, Mrs. Redmon was the daughter of Glen T. and Blanche I. Settle Harden. She married Roy Redmon Dec. 16, 1945. He survives.

Also surviving are sons Tom Redmon of Columbus and Roger Redmon of Kokomo; brothers G. Robert and Larry Harden, both of Columbus; sisters Isabelle Schroer and Carolyn Luther, both of Columbus, and Betty Lou Yeley of Hope; and grandchildren Andrew S. and Brian A. Redmon.

She was preceded in death by brothers William Max and James Harden and sisters Imogene McNealy and Evabelle Zeigler.
