MR. NORMAN LAWRENCE DUPONT SUPERVISOR
Mr. Norman E. Lawrence , 75, of 608 E. Railroad Ave., died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at South End Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Manning officiating.
Mr. Lawrence , a native of Grapeland, Texas, was a supervisor for DuPont Savannah River Site's power department. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and had served on the USS Lexington.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Spann Lawrence ; a son, Rayan Hays, Bamberg; a daughter, Jane Hays Wheeler, Montgomery, Ala.; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be R.L. Gaffney, Thomas Winfield, Ben Jones, Robert Bradley, T.L. Lawton, Thomas Wheeler and William Patrick.
Memorials may be made to Bamberg Historical Society.
