Arch T. Johnson, 79, died Sunday, March 13, 1977, at his home after a four year illness. He was born August 11, 1897, in Wolfe County, (Kentucky) and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Angie Rose Johnson, of Hazel Green
(Kentucky); one daughter, Rosemary Johnson Harris, Dallas, Texas; two sons, Bryan H. Johnson of Middletown, Ohio, and Ellis Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother, Robert Johnson of West Palm Beach, Florida; four sisters, Ethel Buchanan of Hazel Green, Mary Walker of Dearborn, Michigan;
Gladys Franklin of Arlington, Virginia, and Lillian Cann of Pompano Beach, Florida, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 15, at 1 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Kenney officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery
with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
