Jacqueline 'Jackie' Martin
FORT MILLER- Jacqueline 'Jackie' Martin, 78 a resident of Blodgett Road, died Thursday evening at Saratoga Hospital, after a long illness, with her loving family at her side.
Born March 13, 1927, in Victory Mills, she was the daughter of Joseph Harry and Emily (McAuley) Drew.
Jackie enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Fort Edward Garden Club and had operated a greenhouse at her home in Fort Miller. She had been a voting inspector for the town of Greenwich for 30 years.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville, a member of the Old Saratoga Seniors, and a member of the Veerngheit Circle of Fort Miller.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Joseph Drew.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles "Pepper" Martin of Fort Miller [Town of Greenwich]; two sons, Craig Martin of Raceland, La., and Kevin Martin of Greenwich; two daughters, Marina Wilson and her husband, Brian, of Gansevoort, and Tamaris Dolton and her husband, Iliff, of Greenwich; a brother, Lynn Drew of Victory Mills; three sisters, Ann Spinks of Saratoga Springs, Catherine Pechette of Victory Mills, and Michele Gavaletz of Saratoga Springs; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
