Obituary
Memorial services for Ina Young Fisher, 86, of Fultondale, Ala., will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 2-4 p.m., at The Restaurant at Campbell's Field at 2484 Arkadelphia Road in Hayden, Ala. Mrs. Fisher was born Feb. 19, 1928, in Lebanon, Ohio. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hanover, Ind., and First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, Ala. Mrs. Fisher was a wonderful wife and a loving mother. Mrs. Fisher died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at home with her family. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Jack C. Fisher, a daughter, Jackie Lynn Fisher Cowden (Tom) of Fultondale; a son, David Scott Fisher (Arlis) of Columbia Falls, Mont; four grandchildren, Catherine McCutcheon Cowden Chaudoin (Daniel) and Scott Thomas Cowden, all of Fultondale, and Troy Allen Fisher of Madison, Wis., and Arlisa Houston (Cameron) of Columbia Falls, Mont.; one great-granddaughter, Hana Mac Houston. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Wade Young of Kentucky; and her father, Grover Cleveland Young of Turtle Creek, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Cleveland Young and George Daniel Young, both of Lebanon, Ohio; and one sister, Nellie Louise Young Strouth of Lebanon, Ohio; and a half sister, Dorothy Mae Simmons Walker of Lebanon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may made be made to the Alacare Hospice, Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama, Attn; Rhonda Eliott, 2400 John Hawkins Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35244; or the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Per family member: Cremated. Her name will be added to the Fisher monument in Woodside Cemetery.
