GOLDSBERRY, , O'BRIEN (Goldy)59, passed away December 19, 2005 after a brief illness. A Dallas native, Brien was born February 4, 1946 to the late Roy Earl Goldsberry and Dorothy Kennedy Goldsberry. He graduated from Richardson High School in 1964. He graduated from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi in 1966 and then attended the University of North Texas where he majored in music. In 1975, following in his father's and uncle's footsteps, he began a 31 year career with the Dallas Fire Department. Brien is preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Craig Goldsberry. He is survived by his wife, Betty Bennett Goldsberry, son Scott Goldsberry and his wife Traci Goldsberry, grandchildren William Scott Goldsberry and Emaline Faith Goldsberry of Keller, daughter Karen Goldsberry of Dallas, a sister, Sandra Sexton, of Kingwood, a nephew Lance Williams of San Francisco, niece Kim Fox of Galveston and numerous cousins.
