MEMPHIS Christine Hunt Freeman, 97, died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at American Transitional Rehabilitation in Memphis. She was born April 4, 1901, in Senatobia to William Hunt and Sally Allen Hunt. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Hammond Freeman; one son, William Edwin Freeman; and one daughter, Katherine F. Gordon.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Naomi Freeman Brantley of Memphis, four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
