Services for Mr. Elton Vernell Griffin will be held 1 p.m., Monday, April 07, 2014 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Union City Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Stockstil, Bro. Bob Followell and Bro. Charles Olen Robinson will officiate.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until service time Monday, April 7, 2014 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Mr. Griffin, 75, of Union, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family on April 5, 2014. Vernell was born August 24, 1938 in Union. He accepted his Lord and Savior in August of 1972. Vernell attended Union High School and graduated from Hickory High School in 1957. He married his "punkin" in 1960 and had just celebrated 54 years of marriage in February. Vernell will be deeply missed by his wife and family.
