Sarai was born May 13, 1986 to Herman Campbell and Alva M. Campbell. She trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and was an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Magnolia, NJ under the pastorate of Rev. Ralph D. Graves, Sr. She loved the Lord and enjoyed reading the Bible, participated in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and sought opportunities to help/encourage other young people in the church.
Sarai graduated from Highland Regional High School in 2004. She then continued her studies at Rowan University where she earned degrees in American Studies (B.A.) and Educational Administration (M.A.). Sarai was passionate about helping people around the world. The effort to aid those in Darfur (Sudan) is one example of the many causes that she supported. Part of her legacy was her drive to assist people in their personal advancement. Sarai volunteered time with Literacy Volunteers of America where she helped adults with reading skills and their pursuit of life goals.
Regardless of the circumstances and situations of life, Sarai would often be heard saying, "Praise God for another day."
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving parents, Herman and Alva Campbell, two sisters, Elizabeth and Natasha, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.
