Obit Newkirk Herold Journal January 24, 1952 Pg 1, Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the first Methodist Church here for Mrs. Dora Ella Forbeck, 69, who died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Ponca City, Okla. Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Forbeck has been a Newkirk , Ok. resident since 1938. George Hardin , Minister of the church, of Christ will officiate at the services, assisted by Rev. W. R. Stuemky. Burial will be in the Newkirk, Ok. Cemetery under direction of the Hill Funeral Home. Mrs. Forbeck moved to Nardin, Ok. from Emporia, Ks. in 1916. She livedat Nardin until 1938 when she came to Newkirk. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband I. W. Forbeck , of the home; three sons David J. of Geuda Springs, Ks.;M/ Sgt. John W. and Pvt Wayne E. both of Vance Air Force Base, Enid, Ok. ; six daughters, Mrs. Vivian Rosebaugh , Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs.Helen Braymer, Eureka, Ks., Mrs Guela Sanders, Larned, Ks., and Mrs. Pearle Swabb, Miss. Winifred Forbeck and Mrs. Betty Perkins all of Newkirk; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
