Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2009. Interment will follow military rites at Lincoln Memory Gardens near Whitestown. Age: 68 Married City of Residence: 6760 North 450 East, Lebanon, Indiana Date of Death: Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 5:35 a.m. Place of Death: at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon, Indiana Cause of Death: Natural Causes Mr. Scott was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on September 26, 1940, the son of Cecil W. and Naomi Leona (Covey) Scott. A life-resident of Boone County, Mr. Scott was a 1958 graduate of Pinnell High School. He served on active duty in the United States Air Force for four years and remained active in the reserves until 1967. On January 26, 1968, in Whitestown, Indiana he was married to Pamela Joan (Belcher) Scott. Mrs. Scott survives. Mr. Scott spent his career as an employee in Plant 3 in Indianapolis at Allison Transmission, a division of General Motors Corporation until he retired in 1993. Since retiring, he worked in various service stations in Lebanon including McClure Oil and in Whitestown at Shell Oil and Crystal Flash until 1995. Mr. Scott was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was a NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and served two terms as president of the Lebanon Fraternal Order of Eagles. Officiating: Rev. Fred Tanselle Survivors: Wife: Mrs. Pamela J.
