Richard W. Rumrill died at his home, 51 Cherry street at 3 o'clock this morning, having been a sufferer from paralysis for the past two years. He was born in Pittsfield, Vermont, June 7, 1824, and came to Wisconsin in 1844. He was married to Adeline T. Vaughn on Dec. 1, 1846, and settled on a farm in the town of Porter. Three children were born to them, two of whom are living and reside in this city. George H. and Emma S. In 1880 he left his farm and moved to Edgerton where they lived for seven years. In 1891 Mr. Rumrill removed to this city where has since resided. He was well and favorably known throughout the county. Four weeks ago his wife died since which time he has gradually failed until death came to his relief. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock from the home of his son, George H. Rumrill, 153 Lin street, Rev. Dennison officiating.
