John E. Sayers, who for many years resided in Rensselaer and vicinity, died at his home in Brewster, Kansas, on Jan 1, a messages to his children here stated. Rheumatism and kidney complaint caused his death.
Mr. Sayers left Rensselaer about thirteen years ago to make his home in Kansas.
Surviving him are four children, Ernest and Robert Sayers of Rensselaer, Ora of Granite City, Ill., and Mrs. Ethel Welsh of Idaville.
Funeral services were held in Brewster Sunday.
