Sandra K. Good, 68 of Hanover, formerly of the Kittanning area, went to see her Savior on Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of 39 years to Ronald J. Good, Hanover, PA.
She was born on July 8, 1944 in Grove City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Sankey and her mother Anna Mae (Walchesky) Booher, Branchton, PA.
Sandra was a member of Hope Baptist Church, Hanover a former member of Grace Baptist Church, Kittanning. She was employed as a teacher for 32 years in a variety of places and grades. Sandra enjoyed interpreting Church services for the deaf.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons and a daughter: Deanna Hyser and her husband Pat, Bonneauville, PA; Matthew Good and his wife Paula, Walkersville, MD; Jadon Good and his wife Katie, Milwaukee, WI; step-dad: Clayton Booher, Branchton, PA; two brothers: Don Sankey and his wife Gina, Altoona, PA; Wayne Sankey and his wife Jean, Cranberry, PA; also six grandchildren: Jasmine, Caleb, Lily, Elijah, Hannah and Jacob.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday October 29, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church, 527 Butler Road, Kittanning, PA 16201 with Rev. Dan Kaminski officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be held following the memorial service at the church. Burial will be private in Worthington, PA.
